Muslin is a 100% cotton towel double smooth checked gauze.
The main quality of this product is characterized by its multitude of uses and thanks to the fabric used it makes it resistant over time, breathable, absorbent and soft.
What is Muslin used for?
Here is a list of the different uses:
- Wrap the baby so that he feels protected and pampered; ancient popular custom
- Perfect for some privacy while breastfeeding, the muslin can be draped over your shoulder and swept down your baby's head/body
- Placed on your shoulder, it protects your clothes from spitting up.
- Very useful anywhere for diaper changes above the changing table or as an emergency changing table.
- As a bathrobe or towel.
- Very soft and breathable, they absorb sweat and humidity from the skin during the hottest periods of the year. They are therefore excellent to be spread out in the stroller, egg, pram, cradle to lay down your baby.
- They can be used as covers or sheets in the spring / summer period both in the cot and also in the pram and stroller to protect from the air.
- As game cover.
- They can be used to increase the shade capacity of the canopies of strollers and baby carriers. Be careful not to completely close the stroller and the baby carrier with the muslin to avoid a dangerous increase in temperature inside them.
- As a makeshift gag/placemat
- Inside washable nappies instead of the absorbent insert
