Muslin is a 100% double gauze cotton cloth.
The main quality of this product is characterized by its multitude of uses and thanks to the fabric used it makes it resistant over time, breathable, absorbent and soft.
What is Muslin used for?
Below is a list of the different uses:
- Swaddle the baby so that he feels protected and pampered; ancient popular custom
- Perfect for a little privacy while breastfeeding, the muslin can be placed on your shoulder and pulled down your baby's head/body
- Resting on your shoulder, it protects your clothes from spitting up.
- Very useful anywhere for nappy changes over the changing table or as an emergency changing table.
- As a bathrobe or towel.
- Extremely soft and breathable, they absorb sweat and moisture from the skin in the hottest periods of the year. They are therefore excellent for lying in the stroller, infant seat, pram or cradle to place your baby.
- They can be used as covers or sheets in the spring/summer period both in the cot and also in the pram and stroller to protect from the air.
- As a game cover.
- They can be used to increase the shade capacity of stroller canopies and infant car seats. Be careful not to completely close the stroller and carrycot with muslin to avoid a dangerous increase in temperature inside them.
- As a makeshift gag/placemat
- Inside washable nappies instead of the absorbent insert
